Hi. I'm Holly McAlister, my 9 to 5 is as a CPA. Being an accountant automatically qualifies you for the nerd club, but that's totally okay with me. I will whole-heartedly admit my love for a good spreadsheet. Because I'm detail oriented, I am able to plan out a great session, and also create artistic images.

I love a good story. I always admire anyone who can tell one well. Everyone has a story, and I believe everyone is important. Whether you're the family that spends its weekends at baseball tournaments, or a graduating senior who loves music, your story is worth telling,

What's my story? I grew up in St. Louis, and have my own home nestled right down the road from both my mom and my sister.  In 2015, I became a foster parent, and currently have two sisters placed with me. Family is super important to me, and I treat all of my clients as if they are my own family.

I love creating and telling people's stories through photography.  I believe each person is known and loved by God, and created in His image. Caring for people is what makes me come alive. Whether that's talking to a toddler for a few minutes before a session so she gets used to me, or finding out about your family so we really pick a good location that fits your family. I treasure capturing laughter and those intimate moments on camera, and my main goal it to make you feel comfortable. At the heart of what I do is celebrating you, your life, your relationships, and your passions.

You have a story. You are important.  I'd be honored if you'd let me be a part of telling your story.

Holly was very relaxed in her approach and put me at ease during our session. She made it so easy for me to be myself and she captured my personality perfectly in my photos. Additionally, she worked hard to make sure I had the images as soon as possible. I’m so pleased with how my photos turned out and would recommend HollyBerry Studio to anyone!
